About Bob Bardwell

I have been a school counselor for 23 years and currently I am a school counselor as well as the Director of School Counseling at Monson High School in Monson, Massachusetts.  I sit on the Board of Directors of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and I was a former American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Board Director, Secondary Level Vice President and Assembly Delegate.  I also am a Past President of the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA) as well as a former Advocacy Chair for MASCA.  I am a Past-President of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) and have served NACAC as both an Assembly Delegate and chair of its Ad Hoc Committee on graduate coursework.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Springfield College (MA), my M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and my C.A.G.S. from American International College (MA).  In addition to my counseling duties, I am an adjunct professor at Springfield College and Westfield State University, teaching both school counseling and college admission counseling courses for aspiring school counselors.  I have published numerous articles and presented at over 20 national conferences around the country and in 10 states addressing school counseling and college admission counseling topics.
