American School Counselor Association – the organization representing school counselors worldwide which provides countless resources, position statements and professional development opportunities. 

ASCA SCENE – A public forum with 20,000+ members where you can post a question, share resources or connect with colleagues in your areas.

The Center for School Counseling & Leadership – The Center promotes excellence in the field of school counseling and assists school counselors design, implement and evaluate their school counseling programs.  The free site includes hundreds of lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations and pre & post tests.

The Center for School Counseling Outcome & Research & Evaluation – The Center provides support for school counseling research and resources to help establish research based and effective school counseling services. 

American Counseling Association American Counseling Association –The parent association of ASCA representing over 50,000 professional counselors around the globe and is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. 

The National Center for Transforming School Counseling  – TSC works with a network of organizations, state departments of education, school counselor professional associations, higher education institutions, and school districts dedicated to transforming school counselors into powerful agents of change in their schools and in the lives of students. 

Data Quality Campaign –  (DQC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national advocacy organization that leads a partnership of nearly 100 organizations committed to realizing the vision of an education system in which all stakeholders have access to high-quality data from the early childhood, K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems to make decisions that ensure every student graduates high school prepared for success in college and the workplace – A virtual high school guidance office created by Bob Turba, Chairman of Guidance Services at Stanton College Preparatory School located in Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida.


National Association for College Admission Counseling – is an organization of more than 12,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education.

NACAC Public Forum – a free and moderated forum for those interested in dialogue and conversation about college admission counseling topics.

High School Counselor Week – A weekly email digest that summarizes the most recent news and updates regarding college admissions, both nationally and regionally.

The Chronicle of Higher Education – A source of news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty members and administrators and provides the most current news and updates regarding higher education. 

The College Board – A not-for-profit membership organization committed to excellence and equity in education and whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity. Home to the SAT & AP programs among others. – ACT is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides a broad array of assessment, research, information, and program management solutions in the areas of education and workforce development.  Home of the ACT assessment. – College Results Online (CRO) is an interactive, user-friendly Web tool designed to provide policymakers, counselors, parents, students, and others with information about college graduation rates for nearly any four-year college or university in the country
